YOUTH IN GAMING SCHOLARSHIP

The Aurelia Youth in Gaming Scholarship; we’re expanding our Scholarship Program to support youthful gaming enthusiasts who want to pursue a career in gaming.


The Aurelia Digital Foundation Scholarship will be awarded based on the strength of each candidate's commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion, demonstrated leadership, and willingness to share and impart knowledge among peers.

WHO CAN APPLY

  • You must have completed an undergraduate program in any accredited educational institution with a background in programming.


  • Demonstrate strong interest in technology and leveraging digital skills training for career development and progression.


  • Demonstrate keen interest in gaming and the gaming industry


  • Must be willing to train and teach peers and individuals of diverse backgrounds


Note: Internships and Job Placement Opportunities are assured with partner organisations.

Pre-Work

Qualifying Candidates would have to complete Pre-Work, certification tests and assessments to align them with a career specific skill training path

  • What is a significant challenge that you believe young people from Ghana face entering the gaming industry  and how do you see yourself as being part of the solution(s) to this challenge?


  • How would your pursuit of skills and training in the gaming impact your community positively?

  • PDF copy of your resume/CV (if applicable, please include leadership positions, extracurricular activities, and diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts on your resume)
  • PDF of a certified True copy of certificate.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

  • Delegates for this program under this scholarship should have no current job or educational obligations. The program is strictly full time


  • Delegates will be selected based on the overall strength of their essays and application materials compared to the entire applicant pool or respective academic peer.


  • Scholarship award covers tuition, educational material, and digital platforms.
    Administrative costs would be borne by delegate as per individual assessment.


  • Non performance would lead to a termination of scholarship and exit from the program.
